Summary

I am honored to be appointed as Provost Faculty Fellow for Grant Development (2026–2027) at Baruch College. I look forward to working with faculty, the Office of the Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs, Research, and Innovation, and the Office of Sponsored Programs and Research (SPAR) to contribute to the efforts to strengthen grant development and research collaboration at Baruch.

About the Fellowship

The Provost Faculty Fellow for Grant Development will play a key role in expanding faculty capacity to secure external funding and contribute to the development of a grant-seeking culture at Baruch.

The fellow will:

  • Support faculty in the development of competitive grant proposals;
  • Coordinate workshops, consultations, and resources that build faculty capacity in identifying funding opportunities and preparing strong applications;
  • Serve as a faculty ambassador and peer mentor for grant-seeking faculty;
  • Identify barriers faculty encounter in pursuing external funding and recommend strategies to address them;
  • Promote interdisciplinary and cross-school collaboration around funding opportunities;
  • Develop resources, templates, and best practices that support proposal development;
  • Collaborate with the Office of the Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs, Research, and Innovation and the Office of Sponsored Programs and Research (SPAR) to strengthen and streamline proposal development processes; and
  • Present at the Cross-College Faculty Research Symposium as a featured speaker on trends, resources, and outcomes related to faculty grant activity.
